BLOG DAY #111 in a day of my life. Arrival at Magnolia Greens- home of Buck & Cindy McBride!

     Well , we made it to our first link of our vacation. An invite to stop about 1/2 hour from our beach house in Leland NC at Magnolia Greens- home to our dear friends, Buck & Cindy McBride. And our other close friends, Jim & Dorothy Brown had arrived at midnight the night before.We were invited to stop for a few hours, sit back, drink some brews and have lunch- and let the kids tour their little compound! The plan for today is for all our families to gather at our beach house and have a group family gathering picnic on the beach. Our families were close in growing up , and it is the first time that we will be almost entirely together- still missing a couple from both sides.

OKAY- WE ARE HERE- TIME TO UNPACK-PUT AWAY-GET SETTLED IN-GO TO BEACH-DIVE IN-WATER IS WARM-SIGN OF GOOD THINGS TO COME!  BACK TO THE HOUSE-FIX DINNER (DEB&MIKE) . TIME TO EXPLORE- WAIT-MADDIE SPOTS SOMETHING OUT OF THE PORCH FACING THE BEACH CLUB HOUSE! WHAT IS IT? NO WAY! IT CAN'T BE! GOT TO GO AND SEE- WE HEAD DOWN THE STAIRS-ACROSS THE LAWN-TO THE FENCED IN BEACH CLUB PROPERTY. THERE IT IS-YEP-MADDY WAS RIGHT!



WE HAVE A SMALL GATOR IN THE POND! WELCOME TO THE SOUTH! IT IS GONNA BE A WEEK TO REMEMBER! WILL POST AGAIN TOMORROW.
