On our way from Marcus and Tammy's house. They live one mile from us-just across the street from the Town Center. You see down here- when they build a community- they also build a town! Banks-groceries-dry cleaning- bars- everything you would find in a TOWN!
Hand in hand- Deb and Mike and Sarah already waiting for us to get there. IT WAS HOT!
Ella and Taylor waiting to be seated! Taylor says all the time, "ELLA-ELLA!"
After dinner- we walked outside to the fountain in front of the theaters(16 of them) and the babies were in awe with the jets of water.
First mistake- Maddy leaning over to feel the coolness of the water-then both of the babies had to do that!
And of course grandma had to show them how!
First Taylor- she is our little dare devil!
Debby and Tammy- proud mothers and proud daughters!
So glad they followed us to Northern Va. 12 years ago!
Now all three young ones are about to play in the jets of water- it was so funny and commical!
Taylor was the first one to get her face wet-when it squirted her directly in the face!
She laughed and laughed- the innocence of youth!
Her dress is soaked and water dripping from her nose!
She is always happy and smiling-it just captures your heart.
Cassidy - on the other hand - is a little bit reserved- but she climbs everything- you really have to watch her or she is 4 or 5 feet off the ground.
She always looks so serious- a mind of her own-Taylor will listen-Cassidy does what Cassidy wants to do- but then she has that funny little grin- and those eyes are to die for. INDEPENDENT but very cautious.
ELLA- what can I say about her? She is the one Taylor loves- always going around saying ELLA!
Ella has a heart of gold- always there- even if they weigh 1/3 of her wt. she is carring them!
Now we begin our walk back to Tammy & Marcus house- and of course- the twins take the challenge!
Grandma gets involved-only because Cassidy will not go to anyone else who is an adult-she adores her Grandma- everywhere Sherry is- there is Cassidy-either hiding around her legs-clutching her or saying UPPIE PLEASE!
Sarah leading the way- our little miss fashion- dramma queen- beautiful little girl! Full of energy. She will one day be a fashion model or consultant!
And then there is MADDY- she is so beautiful-both inside and outside- she leads by example-I NEVER WANT HER TO GROW UP!
OUR FIVE GRANDAUGHTERS-ALL HERE FOR WHEN GRANDMA RETIRED! PRICELESS!
ALL DIFFERENT IN THEIR OWN LITTLE WAYS-YET ALL THE SAME IN OUR WAY OF FAMILY LIFE.
EACH HAS THEIR OWN IDENTITY- EACH ONE IS SO DARN CUTE-AND THEY ALL GET ALONG TOGETHER- FIVE LITTLE GIRLS.
I LOVE THIS NEXT PICTURE-JUST LOOK AT EACH ONE'S EXPRESSION- EACH ONE IS DIFFERENT-AND EACH ONE'S EXPRESSION IDENTIFIYES THEM AS THEIR OWN PERSONALITY!
MADDY OH MADDY- HOW YOU HAVE GROWN- A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY TO BE-
SMART-ATHLETIC-AND VERY PRETTY- AND VERY MOTHERLY AND CARING-JUST LIKE HER GRANDMOTHER!
SARAH- OUR LITTLE FREE SPIRIT- A BUTTERFLY FLOATING IN THE WIND.SHE IS SOMETHING- SHE WILL BE SOMETHING- AND THIS PICTURE IS HER!
ELLA-ELLA-ELLA- THATS WHAT THE BABIES SAY OVER AND OVER- SHE CAN BE QUIET-YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW SHE IS THERE- BUT WHEN SHE LAUGHS- AND SMILES- THE WORLD BECOMES A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER- MY LITTLE FRIEND-ELLA.
AND WITHOUT THEM- NONE WOULD BE HERE- THANK YOU LORD FOR THESE BLESSINGS- BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS- BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRLS.
THAT WAS OUR WALK-TO AND FROM OUR LITTLE CELEBRATION- NOW THE BIRDS ARE CHIRPING- AND A NEW DAY BEGINS- A NEW BEGINNING FOR OUR WONDERFUL SHERRY-AND ONE OF THE LITTLE PRESENTS SHE RECIEVED WAS A SMALL AMULENT-INSIDE WAS A FLYING PIG.
