BLOG # 42 in a day of my life. GRANDCHILDREN-LOVE THEM-LEAVE THEM-FEEL GUILTY and RETURN FOR MORE!

     When you reach the age of the start of your GOLDEN years, you start to reflect on what you might have done better. You remember back to all those trips to school, games, late night pisk em ups at whatever function they were attending. The worries, the phone calls and the crying!

     Now that you are where you are in life, it gets tearful as the memories come flooding back!
So you try harder this time around when it comes to Grandchildren! Esp. for GRANDMA.
    THEY JUST ADORE HER!

     THE CHILDREN'S STORIES: "THIS LITTLE PIGGY WENT TO THE MARKET!"



                 "THIS LITTLE PIGGY STAYED HOME!"

     It is so adorable to watch them do crafts together, sharing this moment in time-or they come over and say UPPIE, and crawl into her lap, two little twins sitting there smiling!



            THE CASSIDY SQUINT-ALTHOUGH NOT FOR THIS REASON!

     THE TIME THAT IS SPENT WITH THEM IS PRICELESS!


     WE LOOK FORWARD TO THAT TIME-I THINK THE PARENTS ARE WONDERING WHY?

IT IS HERE WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO-THE MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK!
IT IS HERE THAT WE SAY TO OURSELVES-IF ONLY WE COULD OF DONE MORE!
IT IS HERE THAT WE NOW KNOW-THAT WE HAVE A CHANCE TO MAKE A CHANGE!





     SO WE REFLECT BACK-WE KNOW WE WERE BUSY-WE KNOW WE STRUGGLED
TO MAKE ENDS MEET-WE KNOW THAT WE MISSED SOME THINGS AND WE JUST
COULDN'T FIND THE TIME! BUT NOW IT IS DIFFERENT. TIME IS RUSHING
BY. THEY ARE GROWING UP-WE ARE GETTING OLDER-WE WANT TO BE THERE-
WE HAVE THE TIME AND RESOURCES TO DO IT! WE AREN'T INTERESTED IN
CLUBBING(IN OUR TIME IT WAS "THE BAR SCENE")

    SO TODAY IT IS OUR TIME-OUR TURN-LET THE PARENTS GO AND GET SOME "REST"
LET IT BE THE TIME OF OUR LIVES,THE TIME WE COULDN'T FIND ALL THOSE YEARS
AGO!
    TIME IS SHORT!

    WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE-IT IS FITTING THAT WE AS GRANDPARENTS
PASS THIS WISDOM ON-FOR WHAT GOES AROUND-COMES AROUND IN A
FULL CYCLE-WE ONLY HAVE TO LOOK BACK TO SEE THE FUTURE!


               THIS LITTLE PIGGY WILL NEVER BE ALONE
                  GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WILL BE HERE!
                  LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF THE TIME!


     WITH ALL OUR LOVE TO YOU-FOREVER IN OUR MINDS-TIMELESS!
