Yes, we have answered that question many times over. Our hopes and dreams became a reality on June 25th, 1982. The day we were married. We were both married before. Those dreams never materialised for whatever reasons. Divorce is a hard word to say back then. It was a stigma attached to you from an older generation who did not really believe in that concept.
At my reunion, the question was asked by my best high school buddy- HOW MANY PEOPLE IN HERE HAVE BEEN MARRIED MORE THAN ONCE?
We were not abnormal- we were the norm! Almost everyone in that room raised their hands! Some more than twice! Yes, there were the exceptions and God Bless them, they made it! Some for 40 plus years!
But we made it also, for without that union- a lot of peoples lives would of changed. There would be no twins-maybe different grand kids. The point I am making, is that we all make choices. We all have dreams and desires that change over time. And these changes are affected by your choices.
My mother had a great impact on me- but she just could not understand the choices I made back then, although she does now, it was difficult for her until she had to make a choice years after my father passed away.
We are so fortunate we made our choice- our dreams as a family- I WOULD NOT CHANGE FOR THE WORLD! You see, we started out with nothing but those dreams and desires. We struggled- we had no money but we managed to survive. I hope that we instilled those ideals into the family.
AND ALONG THAT LONG ROAD - WE WERE SUPPORTED BY FRIENDS- FOR THE LAST 31 PLUS YEARS- THEY WERE THERE WITH US-FOR US AND BEHIND US!
THAT IS WHY WE REMAIN CLOSE TO THIS DAY-EVEN THOU WE LIVE MILES APART- WE ARE ONLY ,MOMENTS AWAY IN THOUGHT- THEY ARE OUR COMFORT ZONE!
AND YES, WE DO ACT CRAZY-WE DO HAVE FUN AND THAT IS THE TRUE MEANING OF FRIENDS! THOSE WHO KNOW YOU AND CARE FOR YOU!
As we continue on road into the future, those hopes , desires and dreams continue. We came to a fork in the road 7 weeks ago, and drove through the adversity and set a new set of hopes, dreams and desires. that road has already straightened out, and we have new people who we have met, from Oklahoma and Florida. People who have already enriched our lives.

OURS IS COMING TRUE EVERY DAY- YOU ONLY HAVE TO LOOK IN HER EYES TO KNOW THE CHOICE WE MADE WAS THE RIGHT ONE.
YES, WHEN YOU HAVE HOPES AND DREAMS- WHEN YOU HAVE A CHOICE IN WHAT YOUR FUTURE WILL HOLD-WHEN YOU MAKE THAT CHOICE AND YOU START TO SEE THE GROWTH- YOU KNOW IN YOUR HEART "THAT PIGS DO FLY"!
OUR SECOND CHANCE JOURNEY HAS STARTED AND THEY ARE PART OF IT.
AS ARE ALL OF THEM- THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO-THE CHILDREN!
YES, 30 YEARS AGO, OUR DREAMS STARTED- CHOICES MADE THEN HAVE BORN FRUITS FOR TODAY-GOALS HAVE CHANGED- BUT THE DREAM PERSISTS-EVER BEING IN OUR MINDS. PIGS DO FLY!
AS I DRAW TO A CLOSE- I AM REMINDED EVERY DAY OF MY "WHY"! AND WITH THAT WHY COMES THE DRIVING FORCE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS WORLD.
YOU SEE, IT ALL COMES BACK TO FAMILY FOR US!
IT IS WHAT MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO ATTAIN OUR DREAMS AND HOPES AND DESIRES!
IT IS THE WHY IN "PIGS DO FLY"! IT IS THE ANSWER THAT THE IMPOSSIBLE CAN BE ATTAINED. YOU JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE!
FOR US, THE DREAMS ARE REAL-THE HOPES ARE BEING ANSWERED-THE DESIRE IS THERE- AND WE BELIEVE IN OUR WHY.
