BLOG DAY # 73. OUR TOWER DARDEN! GROWING IN THE BACK YARD-OPEN THE DOOR AND SHOP!

    We have been very lucky-we were part of a test group nation wide last year for NSA JUICE PLUS-TOWER GARDEN thru our up line Bob & Sue Burdick from Ga. We started in July- went on vacation- and came back and the thing had grown without any fuss or muss from us!

    I knew we had something special and we were excited to be a part of the next evolution in home gardening without weeding-tilling-watering- and all the time consuming duties that goes into gardening. plus we had no where to put a garden! 

     I had dabbled in putting pots of peppers-a small plot(3 x 5 ft) for tomato's and some lettuce- although I was getting produce-it mostly was not until end of summer.

NOW ENTER NSA-JUICE PLUS- TOWER GARDEN!  It worked! So good that we ran it right up to 12-10-11. I took it down because I was not sure how the crazy winters down here would be last year! If I had only known- it would of been up all winter with a heater in the tank!

    So we planted two Tower Gardens 3-16-12 and here they are 4-21-12!!!!!!!!



They say a picture tells the story- where here they are- and we have already been cutting off them for a week and one half! These are the real deal. And yes-we do sell them-we do make a slight profit-but more important to us is the fact that we are providing a service to many people who can not garden -who can not afford organic produce from the store and are not sure exactly what they are getting when they buy from the store. This is not ORGANIC- you must have soil to be organic- this is simply AIR-WATER-and NUTRIENTS. I put no pesticides on them! SO I KNOW WHAT WE ARE EATING!

Now their growing season is warmer down there-so it has been planted longer-BUT- they are on wheels-so you can grow these 12 months a year by moving them inside and using grow lights!

They just keep replenishing and you keep transferring new plants. You could get 12 harvests a year!
Think about that- an endless supply of fresh FRUITS & VEGETABLES!

  

You need a wide assortment of fruits and veggies and berries. We grow what we can-but we take the above every day. For over six years now we have taken JUICE PLUS. It has had a dramatic effect on our well being and that has now spread to our family.

This along with the Tower Garden - will help us age healthy-we need no meds other than Vit. D. And we can get that from the sun but we do not risk the side effects of that !

 

This unit is producing at a faster pace-and I believe it is because we have a heater in the tank to keep the water warm. We tried this as a test-and it looks like that is the way to go.



We now have many strawberries-although they are still all green! But the cukes are also starting and the tomato plants are 15 to 18 inch's high!


Kale-Spinach for Sherrys green drink that she makes every day. just walk outside-clip off what you want and there you go-YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE TO THE STORE!


LETTUCE FOR SALADS EVERY NIGHT OR FOR LUNCH! we have had no problems with anything eating the produce last year or this year.

WHAT you are looking at took less than 4 weeks to grow!


Here you can see the difference between the two-the one to the left has the water heater.

I bought a tomato plant just to see the comparison in growing time. that plant is in the fore ground.
We will see- the one I bought was that big to start with-the ones in the Tower Gardens were seedlings transplanted-and now are 15 to 18 inch's high!










I hope this gives you a good Idea of what the Tower Garden is all about-I check water level once a week-I check the PH once a week- I rotate the top 1/4 turn every day- and for the most part- sit in my chair-sip wine or drink a beer and watch it grow! Gardening is so hard!
